MO State Parks Centennial Passport Challenge (part 12)!

Updated: Sep 30, 2021

Getting back into the swing of things, it was time to finish off the east half of the state! This single stop trip was to Graham Cave State Park! As the name suggests, this park does feature a cave where evidence has been found of people living in this shallow cave between 8,000 and 10,000 year ago! Not much to see now though as they have covered the insides of the cave with gravel and tarps to prevent weathering of the archaeological remains. Still the area offers decent hiking and even access to the Loutre River!

Completing this trip today added 1 more park to my list bringing the running total to 59 of 88!

Span of 1 day; Approximately 125 miles; No fuel economy statics recorded.
